Indiana’s Game 1 hero gave the home crowd a scare in Game 3.
Pacers guard Aaron Nesmith was deemed “questionable” to return against the Knicks in the third quarter because of a right ankle sprain, according to TNT’s Allie LaForce, but he was reinserted into the game in the fourth quarter of Indiana’s 106-100 loss to New York.
Nesmith appeared to land on Jalen Brunson’s foot as he jumped to make a pass in the third quarter. He rolled his right ankle and was down on the ground in pain. He was helped off the court by teammates and escorted to the locker room by trainers.
