Blockbuster trade prediction links Tyreek Hill to Giants in shocking twist

The New York Giants are viewed as a team that’s likely to be a seller at the 2025 NFL trade deadline, despite the optimism that’s slowly spreading among the Big Blue faithful.

While I’m not ready to call the Giants a team in Stage 1 of a rebuild, I do understand that reality suggests New York is still a year or two (or more) away from being considered playoff contenders.

Still… that defense has a chance to be special.

For now, the Giants will continue to be linked to trade speculation as the 2025 season approaches and even after it kicks off.

Take the latest blockbuster trade prediction involving Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, for example.

No, the Giants don’t pair Hill with Malik Nabers in this hypothetical, but they do play a key role in a three-team deal that also involves the Arizona Cardinals.

Big Blue comes away with offensive lineman Jonah Williams while parting with Kayvon Thibodeaux, who ends up in Miami, and paves the way for Hill to land with the Cardinals.

“While New York plans to keep Thibodeaux in the short term, he’s not likely to remain with the team beyond the 2026 campaign when his rookie deal is complete,” Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski wrote.

“The Giants can improve in a needed area now, while possibly keeping Williams on the roster even longer.”

That feels like an underwhelming return for Thibodeaux, but the Giants are uniquely positioned at edge rusher to leverage a player like Thibodeaux, whose upside may still be high, for Williams, who’d represent an instant plug-and-play upgrade at right tackle.

Get used to trade projections like this, Giants fans. They won’t stop until New York starts winning games.
