Bayern Munich are in scramble mode. Their €136 million [$156m] push for Florian Wirtz collapsed as the Germany international sealed a move to Liverpool on Friday, and their other prime target, Nico Williams, is also closing in on Barcelona. With options shrinking, the 33-time Bundesliga champions are now moving northwest.
According to L’Equipe, Bayern have now contacted PSG to ask for the exact conditions under which Bradley Barcola could be released.
Barcola is under contract until 2028 and has struggled for minutes since PSG brought in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for €70 million [$80m].
Despite the competition, Barcola registered 21 goals and 19 assists across 58 matches this season, including 14 goals in Ligue 1.
PSG, however, are not open to selling with The French outlet described the deal as almost impossible.
Bayern Munich targets Bynoe-Gittens too
If Bayern Munich are unable to secure Bradley Barcola from PSG, they’ve lined up Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as the next serious target.
According to Kicker, Bayern have reactivated contact with the 19-year-old’s camp.
Dortmund are reportedly open to a sale if they receive an offer in the region of €60 million [$69m].
The English winger, known for his pace and flair, has already agreed to personal terms with Chelsea and only the club-to-club agreement remains pending.
Bayern, however, are pressing fast with Max Earl focusing on pushing the deal forward, hoping to hijack Chelsea’s move at the last moment.
