Pat McAfee’s 4-word message after Pacers’ game 6 win

Game 6 of the NBA Finals was an opportunity for the Oklahoma City Thunder to close things out and celebrate in Indianapolis.

But, the Indiana Pacers had a different thought.

Tyrese Haliburton, injured and all, helped lead the Pacers to a 108-91 win over the Thunder on Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

What does that mean? Well, Game 7 takes place on Sunday in a winner-takes-all showdown in OKC.

After the game, Pat McAfee, the former Indianapolis Colts punter who is now a star in the television industry, had a four-word message on X.

“Man…LET’S GO PACERS.”

The Pat McAfee Show was live at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Game 6, and his excitement for the Pacers is no surprise given his ties to the city. McAfee was also actively posting on X throughout the game, and he is thrilled to see them live for another day.

The Pacers jumped out to a 64-42 halftime lead and cruised from then on. Andrew Nembhard led the way for the starting five with 17 points, Pascal Siakam added 16 points with 13 rebounds, and Haliburton scored 14 despite dealing with an injury.

But, Obi Toppin led the Pacers with 20 points off the bench as TJ McConnell had 12 points with nine rebounds and six assists.

It was a balanced attack from Indiana, and now they head to Oklahoma City for Game 7 on Sunday night with everything on the line.
