Bayern Munich are on the verge of losing out of their star winger in Leroy Sane. His contract is all set to end at the end of this month and despite the club’s best efforts, Sane is yet to accept contract extensions.
Therefore, he may move out of Germany with several clubs lining up for the German international. Earlier there were reports of Arsenal planning to sign the winger for free to save up funds for their striker. Similarly, arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur were also interested in the 29-year-old.
But fresh reports from Turkish outlet Haberturk and Fabrizio Romano suggest that Galatasaray have shown interest in signing Sane this summer. As per reports, the Turkish outfit have sent contract proposals to the German winger.
However, reports from Sky Germany suggest that Galatasaray have offered a €12 million per year wages and are waiting to hear from the 29-year-old. The Yellow-and-Reds have also sent contract proposal to Victor Osimhem, who has rejected Al-Hilal’s recent offer.
The Turkish outfit are keen to build a strong team to compete in European competitions and therefore they are eager to bring in players like Sane, who will instantly elevate the quality and level of their roster with his experience.
Reportedly, Barcelona and Napoli are the other clubs interested in Sane along with several Premier League clubs.

Where do things stand between Sane and Bayern Munich?
Sane was reportedly close to signing a contract extension with Bayern before he decided to join hands with super-agent Pini Zahavi. Since changing his agency, he has changed his stance and decided to push for a better deal at Bayern.
Recent reports from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettigoal suggest that Bayern Munich have indeed improved their extension offer for Sane. As per reports, the Bavarians have slightly increased the fixed salary and are offering the total package of €15.5m gross per year.
After Germany’s 2-1 defeat against Portugal in the Nations League semifinals, Sport1 asked Sane about his future and whether he will stay in Munich or not. The 29-year-old gave nothing away with sheepish smile and said, “Very good question”.
Sane netted 13 goals and provided five assists for Bayern last season in 45 matches across all competitions. He has been a part of a very successful Bayern side since moving from Manchester City in 2020. He has won four Bundesliga crowns, a couple of DFB Pokal, along with a solitary UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
