What channel is Tigers vs. Cubs on today? Time, TV schedule, live stream for MLB Friday Night Baseball game

Two of MLB’s best teams clash on “Friday Night Baseball,” with the Tigers hosting the Cubs to begin an exciting three-game set.

All the better, Friday’s contest features one of the game’s premier pitchers: Left-hander Tarik Skubal, the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner, will toe the rubber for Detroit.

In his last two starts, Skubal has tossed 16 scoreless innings while allowing just four hits and notching 20 strikeouts. He’ll look to continue his domineering stretch against a talented Chicago lineup that ranks among the best: Entering play on Thursday, the Cubs had scored the second-most runs of any team in baseball this season.

Skubal will contend with a couple of MVP candidates in Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong. The 23-year-old Crow-Armstrong is enjoying a breakout season, pairing spectacular defense with electric speed (20 stolen bases) and power (15 home runs).

Both teams look like legitimate World Series contenders, too. The Tigers are leading the AL Central, while the Cubs are pacing the competition in the NL Central.

Here’s everything that you need to know about watching Tigers vs. Cubs on “Friday Night Baseball,” including streaming information for the midwest showdown.
