PSG are prepared to part ways with Gonçalo Ramos this summer, as reported by French outlet L’Équipe, and with Manchester United eyeing a major overhaul up front, club captain Bruno Fernandes has thrown his weight behind his Portugal teammate.
Ramos, 23, joined PSG from Benfica in 2023 but has struggled to cement a starting role under Luis Enrique.
The Portuguese forward made 41 appearances across all competitions after an early-season ankle injury sidelined him for weeks but started only sparingly.
Despite netting 18 goals, he largely played second fiddle to Ousmane Dembele, who was frequently deployed as a false nine.
Now, PSG reportedly views Ramos as surplus to requirements and are open to letting him go. That news has reportedly caught Manchester United’s attention, especially as the club searches for solutions to its scoring woes.
United endured one of their worst Premier League seasons ever, plagued by a serious lack of goals. Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee managed only seven league strikes.

The club has already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves and is in talks with Brentford over Bryan Mbeumo. Ramos, though, could be the final piece.
Bruno backs Goncalo Ramos in the Premier League
Bruno Fernandes, who captains both United, believes Ramos is tailor-made for the English game.
“Gonçalo has all the conditions to play in the Premier League,” Fernandes said last year. “He is very intense, presses very well, and is very good in the area. Physically, he is strong; he is still young and will get better.”
“I think he has all the qualities to play in the Premier League, and when I say the Premier League, I also say Manchester United. But it’s not in my hands yet to be a sporting director. When I am, I will make these decisions.”
With Fernandes still in red and Ramos on PSG’s exit list, the pieces may be falling into place. If United act fast, a Portuguese connection could soon lead their front line into a new era.
