A 2-1 record on Saturday’s MLB player props card ran our weekly record to 8-5 with one slate left. Sunday’s menu is loaded with 15 games to choose from, and our favorite bet to target comes from the AL East matchup between the Orioles and Red Sox.
That’s where Rafael Devers is set up to continue his torrid month of May. Devers is the hottest hitter in baseball at the moment, posting even better numbers than AL MVP favorite Aaron Judge over the past two weeks. His recent stretch has made him one of the most high profile MLB bets this month. Devers will face off against Baltimore’s Dean Kremer this afternoon, and that’s a matchup he’s had plenty of success in over his career.

MLB Player Prop Picks for May 25
Rafael Devers Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBI (-140 at Bet365)
Devers is 7-for-20 all-time versus Kremer, with 2 home runs and 3 RBI. The 28-year-old enters play slashing .423/.524/.846 since May 10th, with 6 dingers, 22 RBI, and 12 runs scored.
Devers is on pace for career-highs in virtually every offensive category, and is making hard contact at a ridiculous 59.3% clip. For context, that’s basically the same rate as one of baseball’s best, Shohei Ohtani. He’s cleared over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI six times in his last nine outings, and we’re banking on him accomplishing the feat yet again today.
As for Kremer, the right-hander has been underwhelming lately, to say the least. He’s coughed up 16 hits and 8 earned runs over his past two starts, and has surrendered at least 4 runs in six of 10 starts this season. Kremer’s fastball velocity is down this season, while his 8% swing and miss rate is the lowest mark of his career.
Bryce Harper 2+ Bases (-115 at DraftKings)
For our next wager, we’re targeting 2+ bases for Phillies slugger Bryce Harper. The 32-year-old has cleared this mark in seven of nine games, and his 50.3% hard hit rate is his highest mark since 2015.
Harper and the rest of the Philadelphia hitters are in a great spot today against Athletics righty, Gunnar Hoglund. The 25-year-old is coming off back-to-back horrendous outings, yielding 13 hits, 9 earned runs, and 5 homers during that stretch.
Hoglund is allowing hard contact at a 41.5% clip, while enemy hitters are slashing .282/.330/.529 off him this season.
Tarik Skubal Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-135 at DraftKings)
Over 7.5 strikeouts for Tarik Skubal is our final wager today, a mark he’s cleared in five straight starts. Skubal owns a career-best 11.9 K/9 rate so far, while his 17.7% swinging strike rate is by far the highest of his MLB tenure.
Skubal and the Tigers will face the Guardians today, one of the coldest lineups in baseball. Cleveland enters play ranked bottom four in average and home runs over the last two weeks, and their current batters own a lifetime strikeout rate north of 25% against Skubal.
