Timberwolves vs. Thunder Odds, Picks and Best Bets for Game 3

Chet Holmgren Over 1.5 3-point makes (+135 at Bet365)

This series has been about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander absolutely dicing up the T-Wolves, but Chet Holmgren is having himself a pretty good series.

He went for 22 points in Game 2, his second highest scoring output in these playoffs. About the only thing he didn’t do well was hit from deep, going just 1-for-6 from 3-point range.

Holmgren’s dropped to plus odds on going Over his 1.5 make line, and I think his shooting will be critical, especially early, when Minnesota and its crowd will be at its liveliest.

Holmgren has gone three straight games at one or less makes from downtown, and the last time that happened in the postseason, he drilled two against the Nuggets in Game 6.

Anthony Edwards Over 28.5 points (-115 at Bet365)

Anthony Edwards finally arrived at the West Finals, but even his 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists didn’t put much of a dent in a 118-103 loss.

The way the Thunder are rolling, it feels like Ant needs to hit this scoring line just for a chance for the Timberwolves to compete.

There’s still a level for him to go as well, as Edwards made only 1-of-9 3-point attempts.

No NBA team has ever come back from down 3-0 in a series, so this is Minnesota’s legit last chance to make this a series.

Already one of the best NBA betting targets, Edwards should bring his best game out in Game 3.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 1.5 steals (-145at Bet365)

Alongside the devastating scoring numbers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been a pest on the defensive side of the ball.

SGA has picked up three steals in back-to-back games, and he’s registered at least two swipes in nine of the last 12 games.

Minnesota’s 15.1 turnovers per game are by far the worst numbers of any team left standing.

OKC’s defense is relentless at every point, and Game 3 should just be another day at the office for SGA and his ability to turn his opponents over.
