Tottenham vs. Man United lineups, predicted starting 11, confirmed team news, injuries for Europa League final

Manchester United and Tottenham will seek to salvage their dismal Premier League seasons when they clash for UEFA Europa League glory in Bilbao.

These two sides have long since checked out of their domestic campaigns and look likely to occupy 16th and 17th spots in the final analysis.

That humiliation would be drastically eased by a major piece of silverware. Spurs haven’t lifted a trophy since the 2008 EFL Cup, while Ruben Amorim’s Old Trafford reign could badly use a vindicating success.

Injuries have been a part of the torment for both clubs leading into this match, so how are their squads looking?

Ange Postecoglou’s main concerns come in midfield, with James MaddisonDejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall all ruled out.

The picture is far rosier at centre-back. Despite both missing large chunks of the campaign, influential duo Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are ready to start.

Amorim’s decision to field more first-choice players for United’s 1-0 loss at Chelsea backfired when Leny Yoro sustained a foot injury. The youngster is a doubt alongside fellow defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Diogo Dalot.

Amad Diallo and Mason Mount have each given Amorim’s support attacking options a boost in recent weeks and are vying to start.

Much-maligned striker Rasmus Hojlund has scored six goals in the Europa League this season, two more than he has managed in the Premier League in 2024/25/

Man United predicted starting lineup (3-4-2-1, right to left): Onana (GK) — Yoro, Maguire, Lindelof — Mazraoui, Casemiro, Ugarte, Dorgu — Fernandes, Amad — Hojlund.

Injured: Dalot (calf, doubt), De Ligt (knee, doubt), Yoro (foot, doubt), Zirkzee (hamstring), Martinez (ACL), Evans (undisc.)
