The Nuggets were down 3-1 to the Thunder in the second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. But Denver battled back and used a 119-107 win at home in Game 6 to force a pivotal Game 7.
Unfortunately, late in the fourth quarter of the win, Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon went down with an injury. Gordon was going after a loose ball and came up limping. With just under two minutes left in the game, Gordon was bringing up the ball when Thunder center Chet Holmgren knocked it away from him. While scrambling for it, the Denver forward looks like he felt something in his hamstring.

Is Aaron Gordon playing tonight vs. Thunder?
On Friday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Gordon’s status was “in doubt” for Game 7 due to a left hamstring strain. The Nuggets were hoping that he would be ready for the winner-take-all matchup; however, Charania followed that up with a report on Sunday that, despite Gordon “searching for ways to play”, it is “physically improbable to do so.”
While he is not officially out, he is unlikely to suit up against the Thunder.

Gordon was asked about his hamstring after Game 6. He said that he felt okay but would have to see how he felt for Game 7. The Nuggets kept the series alive on Thursday night and won’t play again until Game 7 on Sunday. Despit giving Gordon an extra night to recover, he won’t be in the lineup.
