As the countdown to the 2025 UEFA Champions League final hits fever pitch, the pre-game predictions are flying. But few have made their pick with as much passion as Oscar-winning actress and football entrepreneur Natalie Portman
Portman, speaking to Canal+, made a bold statement: “PSG has got it. The team is better than ever!” She didn’t hesitate. She’s backing Paris Saint-Germain to beat Inter Milan in Munich on May 31.
Portman isn’t just another celebrity weighing into the debate. She’s a co-owner of Angel City FC in the NWSL and a lifelong football fan.
Her connection to PSG runs deep. At the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, she revealed her whole family are fans of the French club.
“Everything I know about football, my son teaches me. He says the exit of all these big stars has made the young players come together like never before. So I think it’s going to work!”
Portman’s prediction lands at a time where PSG are enjoying a major shift which was clear to see in their 3–1 semifinal aggregate win over Arsenal. PSG are now eyeing their first-ever UCL title, a trophy that has remained elusive for some time.
