World No 2 Alexander Zverev will be looking for some crucial game time ahead of Roland Garros. Though the German won the title in Munich, he struggled to get going at the three Masters events in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome.
While most of the top players will be looking for a break in the week ahead of the season’s second Slam, Andrey Rublev, Frances Tiafoe, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gael Monfils will make the trip to Hamburg.
