Barcelona are already looking ahead to the 2025/26 season as they stand on the brink of clinching the La Liga title.
Hansi Flick has enjoyed a superb first campaign in Catalonia with the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Ry crowns wrapped up.
A domestic treble will cap off the season, and Flick has won all four El Clasico meetings with Real Madrid, which has played a vital part in Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from the Spanish capital.
However, as part of a fast-moving situation at the club, Flick will look to bolster in key positions over the summer.
La Blaugrana are keen not to stand still, as their rivals bring in new players, but signings will need to be financed by exits from Flick’s current squad.
As per reports from Catalan outlet Diario Sport, Flick and sporting director Deco could be open to offloading eight players, including two long-term targets for Manchester United.

Which players are leaving Barcelona in 2025?
The headline name on the list of possible exits is Frenkie de Jong with the Dutch international facing key contract talks in the months ahead.
Barcelona have previously tried to offload the former Ajax star to United, but he rejected a move to Old Trafford, and his situation has evolved in Barcelona.
The 28-year-old has become a vital part of Flick’s plans and his preference has always been to stay, but with contract expiring in 2026, he will be sold if a renewal package is not agreed.
United could also come calling for Ronald Araujo, with the Uruguayan reportedly frustrated at his first time role under Flick, and his release clause will drop to €65m [$72m] for the first week of June.
Alongside De Jong and Araujo, Ansu Fati, Inaki Pena, Pau Victor and Hector Fort could move on in search of a more regular squad spot, with Fati unable to convince Flick.
Spain duo Gavi and Fermin Lopez are viewed as a potential departures, with the pair on the fringes of Flick’s plans, and they would bring in huge fees – if the former Bayern Munich boss opts to cut them loose.
