Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo entertains trade rumors with amusement about possible exit from Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the top teams to watch in the offseason, as many people think their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, might be up for sale. Antetokounmpo himself has been actively partaking in the rumors as well, fanning the flames of debate.

On Instagram, Antetokounmpo was in the comments of a Run It Back post that had Antetokounmpo’s teammate, Bobby Portis, as a guest. According to Portis, he’ doesn’t think Antetokounmpo will leave. However, Antetokounmpo left a comment, jokingly telling Portis to mind his own business, and figure out if he’s leaving or staying.

“Don’t worry about me!” Antetokounmpo commented. “What you doing Bobby you staying or leaving?!”.

Portis commented back on his own account, laughing with crying emojis. The two players were just having fun, but it does spark debate.

Antetokounmpo neither confirmed nor denied Portis’ statement, which points to the fact he will probably ask for a trade. If not, he would have been outright and said he wasn’t going anywhere.

There are many teams that Antetokounmpo could thrive on; the Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs, the Houston Rockets, and many others. Milwaukee has an aging and injured roster, and they haven’t been successful in the playoffs since they won it all back in 2021.

So while Antetokounmpo jokes about it, there’s a good chance he will ask for a trade. It might not even go through if the Bucks don’t like the offers, but since they have no future, and only have aging stars, they might take what they can get.
