Michael Kopech is trying to work his way back to the big leagues after injury.
He doesn’t quite look to be ready to rejoin the Los Angeles Dodgers, though, after maybe the worst rehab pitching performance ever.
Kopech faced five batters on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
He walked all five.
All told, it was a miserable outing for Kopech. He threw just three of his 23 pitches for strikes.
Kopech has yet to pitch at the MLB level in 2025. He began 2024 with the White Sox, then got a trade go through in January.
In his career, Kopech has a 4.19 ERA. But since shifting to the bullpen, he’s lowered that considerably.
Consider his 24 games with the Dodgers last season, Kopech had a 1.13 ERA there.

The Dodgers are a juggernaut and don’t need Kopech immediately.
Good thing, because he doesn’t seem ready.
But L.A. will certainly be hoping he figures things out soon enough.
