Following the second straight meltdown by the Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks have announced ticket prices for Game 3, and fans are not pleased.
The first two games of this series have been defined by the Celtics’ defense holding strong in the first half before the Knicks make halftime adjustments and storm back from down 20.
Now, Boston is facing a 0-2 deficit and is heading on the road to Madison Square Garden, the biggest stage in basketball. This is sure to be the biggest game of the season for the Celtics
The wild nature of the first two games, as well as the gravity of Game 3, has led to the cost of tickets inflating rapidly. The get-in price for the game has now ballooned up to $734, and the average ticket price is sitting at $989.
This price has left fans confused and upset. Many fans are lamenting over the price, while some are cracking jokes at the Knicks’ expense.
DubiousNFTLover mocked Knicks fans by saying, “just for the Knicks to drop both games at MSG.”
