Finally, Minnesota has its star back.
Third baseman Royce Lewis is returning to the Twins lineup on Tuesday night.
It’ll be the season debut for Lewis, who has been out since suffering a hamstring strain in spring training.
Lewis could still be an MLB star, but he’s had a tough time staying on the field.
He hit 16 home runs in just 82 games in 2024.
Lewis was better in 2022-23, when he had a combined 158 weighted runs created plus.
The problem? In those two seasons, Lewis played just 70 total games.

The Twins are 15-20 on the season, 35 games already missed by Lewis.
They host Baltimore, which is 13-20, for the start of a three-game series.
Both Minnesota and the Orioles have been disappointments so far this season, and they’ll both be trying to turn things around.
The Twins hope Lewis is the key to unlocking their potential.
Now, Lewis just has to find a way to stay on the field.
