Danica Patrick is known as the most successful woman to ever compete in the history of American open-wheel car racing. For years, she was known primarily as a racecar driver and model. However, over the past year, she has become outspoken and well-connected in the world of politics as well.
On Tuesday, May 6, she shared a photo on Instagram of herself along with a group of other female figures, several of whom have important roles within the current Trump Administration. Notably, the group featured United States Attorney General Pam Bondi, United States Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, Lara Trump.
Also pictured among the high-powered group were New York Times best-selling author Codi Sanchez, political writer Jessica Reed Kraus, author and activist Vani Hari, physician Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, and blogger and television personality Meghan McCain.
In her caption, Patrick discussed the power of dreaming big and how it has influenced her own success and racing career.
“I dreamt up this group. Dreaming is how I have [sic] operated my whole life. When I was 10 I dreamt of being a race car driver. In 2006 I dreamt of having a winery. And I have a couple other dreams in the works. No dream is too big and if you don’t have one you’ll never get it,” she wrote.
“The world is what you make of it. And this group makes the world a better place,” she concluded.
