Who won the NASCAR race today? Full results, standings from 2025 Jack Link’s 500 in Talladega

Talladega bites.

NASCAR’s top-flight returned to one of its most storied sites on Sunday afternoon, taking hold of Talladega Superspeedway during a day at the races like few others.

Sunday’s race, the Jack Link’s 500, promised to be an eye-catching affair. Most superspeedway races are, after all — the Big One is an unenviable scourge to drivers and race fans alike. And yet, it so frequently takes shape across the 2.660-mile surface.

The race was, by and large, clean, save for first-stage wrecks that collected Christopher Bell, Chris Buescher, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney. Chevrolets flashed considerable speed in the race’s opening frame, while the second stage was defined by Toyotas, including 23XI Racing star Bubba Wallace.

So, who won out when the dust settled on Sunday afternoon? Here’s a look the final results from the Cup Series’ latest race, the Jack Link’s 500.

Who won the NASCAR race today?

Austin Cindric took home the crown at Talladega on Sunday afternoon, outpacing Ryan Preece in the race’s final moments to pick up his first victory of the season.

The final stage of Sunday’s was a tense affair, filled with lead changes, green-flag pit stops and daring passes. Ross Chastain feigned a block on Denny Hamlin with about 20 laps to go, halting Toyota’s momentum in one fell swoop. His exploits opened the door for Cindric to slip to the front of the field. Cindric held off his adversaries with a series of blocks, securing the famous checkered flag in the process.
