Manchester City icon Kevin De Bruyne has already confirmed his plan to leave the club when his contract expires in June.
De Bruyne has gained legendary status following his 2015 arrival from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg as a key figure in City’s success over recent years.
The Belgian midfielder has indicated the decision was placed on his shoulders by the club, and the 33-year-old indicated – via ESPN – that he is open to any opportunities that are suitable for him and his family.
“I’m open for anything, because I have to look at the whole picture. I’m looking at sporting, family, everything together, what makes the most sense for me and my family,” he said.
“I don’t know what that is, because it depends on when you speak to people and what they say about projects. I still feel I can play at a good level, but I’ll have to make a decision once I know a little more.”
With his journey at City coming to an end, Premier League fans are speculating over whether they are seeing his final days in the EPL – but that might not be the case.

Is Kevin De Bruyne staying in the Premier League?
De Bruyne has been heavily linked with a summer move to the USA with four Major League Soccer clubs – including Inter Miami – who have his discovery rights, Chicago Fire, New York City and DC United, reportedly keen on acquiring his signature.
Serie A club Como have also made inquiries about about a potential move, as Cesc Fabregas looks to add experience to his squad, but they may be outbid.
As part of a sensational twist, Aston Villa have reportedly been in internal discussions over a shock offer for De Bruyne, according to Sky Sports.

With De Bruyne stating his desire to keep playing at the top level, Villa could be a perfect destination for him, with a reduced need to uproot his family and the chance to extend his EPL career.
If Villa can secure their aim of another UEFA Champions League qualification in the coming weeks that will boost their chances of luring De Bruyne to Birmingham.
