Arsenal fans are waiting patiently for a big summer transfer window at the Emirates Stadium as Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta get to work.
The Gunners are already in talks with Spain international Martin Zubimendi, and if those negotiations remain on track, the Basque star will slot into Arteta’s midfield.
However, Arteta may need more than one player in the heart of his midfield next season with Jorginho and Thomas Partey potentially leaving the club as their current contracts end at the end of this campaign.
As per reports from CaughtOffside, the Gunners are monitoring the situation surrounding Chelsea loanee Andrey Santos, but they are not the only big club eyeing the 20-year-old.
The reports indicates Tottenham, Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan are also chasing the Brazilian.
Santos could look to stay on at Stamford Bridge but his place in Enzo Maresca’s squad appears unclear.

Who is Andrey Santos?
Andrey Santos joined Chelsea in the January 2023 transfer window from Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama, before being loaned back to them in March until the end of that season.
In August 2024, he was loaned out to Nottingham Forest, but after making just one Premier League appearance, he was recalled by Chelsea at the start of 2024 and the Blues loaned him back out to sister club Strasbourg.
The young Brazilian proved his worth playing in Ligue 1, and his consistent performances caught the eye, but Enzo Maresca was not convinced following his arrival last summer.
The Italian accepted an agreement to send Santos back to Strasbourg for the full 2024/25 campaign, where he has featured in 30 matches across all competitions plus nine goals and three assists.
The versatile midfielder is valued in the region of €45-50m [$51-57m] this summer, which could fit inside Arsenal’s budget.
The most curious aspect over his possible exit from Chelsea, is that the Brazilian is yet to make his debut for Chelsea despite joining the club more than two years ago, with his sole appearances in English football coming during his time at Forest.
