Another day, another rumor about Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the Milwaukee Bucks. Antetokounmpo, one of the two best players in the NBA, has consistently proven throughout his career that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Despite the Bucks going down 0-2 against the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs, he’s done everything in his power to keep the Bucks in both games.
In the Bucks’ Game 2 loss on Tuesday night, the two-time MVP Award winner finished with 34 points, 18 rebounds, and seven assists, outplaying everybody on the court by a wide margin.
Unfortunately for Antetokounmpo, it wasn’t enough for the Bucks to come away with a win, losing 123-115.
With his future in question multiple times over the past few years, it’s tough to get a feel for what’s real and what isn’t. However, according to a report from Chris Haynes, he doesn’t believe that Antetokounmpo will return to the Bucks, and certainly won’t finish his career there.
“I don’t think so. … If they don’t get to the Finals, win the Finals, or even make a deep run, you could probably see some wholesale changes,” Haynes said.

The Bucks have some decisions to make regarding their coaching staff and front office over the next few months if they don’t perform well in the postseason.
Jon Horst and Doc Rivers aren’t the answer in the general manager and coaching roles, but getting rid of Antetokounmpo would be a death sentence for this organization.
Remember, a bit before Antetokounmpo came along, there were talks about moving the team out of Milwaukee.
He’s completely revived basketball for the Bucks, and moving him doesn’t make any sense in the short or long term.
