Where to watch NASCAR today: TV channel, start time, schedule for 2025 Las Vegas race

The much-anticipated Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is bringing NASCAR to Sin City.

Christopher Bell and the No. 20 JGR Toyota are already establishing themselves as the squad to beat after just four races this season. People begin to pay notice after you win three in a row.

Joey Logano’s four victories at Las Vegas Motor Speedway have already etched his name in the track’s history, tying him with Jimmie Johnson for the most Cup Series wins. A fifth triumph would solidify his reputation as the modern-day king of the desert.

Meanwhile, Hendrick Motorsports has long dominated at Vegas, boasting 10 Cup Series victories, including Kyle Larson’s wins in 2021 and 2024. With Hendrick’s track record on 1.5-mile ovals, Larson and William Byron enter as frontrunners, though the introduction of softer tires could shake up pit strategy and add an element of unpredictability.

As for the weather, clear skies will set the stage for an uninterrupted weekend of racing. Temperatures will hover around 55°F for Friday’s Truck Series race, climbing to 62°F for Sunday’s Cup event. The only slight weather concern is a 7% chance of rain on Friday, March 14.

With playoff implications beginning to take shape, Las Vegas serves as NASCAR’s first true test on a 1.5-mile oval this season. Whether Christopher Bell extends his hot streak or veterans like Logano rewrite history, one thing is certain—the Vegas spotlight never disappoints.
