For much of their last match, the Toros seemed to have everything under control—until the final stretch turned into a nightmare. Chicago stunned them with three goals after the 80th minute, handing Dallas its first home defeat in league play since last September, when Orlando City came away with a 3-1 victory.
Eric Quill’s squad, however, has shown resilience when falling behind early. They’ve yet to lose in MLS play this season after conceding the first goal, having clawed back four points in such situations.
Interestingly, they’ve yet to find the net in the first half of a domestic match this year but have only allowed one first-half goal in their last four league outings at Toyota Stadium.
