Myles Garrett has been linked to a number of destinations after requesting to be traded away from the Cleveland Browns.
One of the simplest as far as real-life moving implications would be the Buffalo Bills, who recently popped up in a prediction by The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia.
If that deal went through, Garrett would have to drive just a few hours west on Interstate-90 to make it to his new home.

Myles Garrett trade prediction details
Bills receive: Myles Garrett, 2026 fifth-round pick, 2027 seventh-round pick
Browns receive: A.J. Epenesa, 2025 first-round pick (No. 30 overall), 2026 first-round pick, 2027 fourth-round pick
This deal, predicted by Bills beat writer Joe Buscaglia, has positive aspects for Buffalo and Cleveland. The Bills get an all-world pass rusher, while the Browns get a younger edge player to replace Garrett with Epenesa, along with two first-rounders and an additional pick move up.
Garrett has recorded double-digit sacks in every season since 2018, which was his second year in the NFL. He’s finished with exactly 14.0 in each of the past two seasons, and has 102.5 in his NFL career.
The 29-year old reached 100 career sacks faster than anyone since 1982.
The Browns return in this deal, Epenesa, was a second-round pick in 2020 and has 21.5 sacks in his NFL career, including at least 6.0 in each of the past three seasons.
Buscaglia elaborated on the salary implications of the move, starting with Epenesa adding up to a bit of savings ($3.3 million), then suggesting the Bills would convert Garrett’s 2025 cap hit into a prorated signing bonus to save $14.8 million.
After that, Buffalo would likely look to sign Garrett to an extension.
Any contract extension for Garrett will be impacted by Maxx Crosby’s recent re-upping with the Las Vegas Raiders.
