The push to qualify for the TGL postseason continues with a doubleheader Monday afternoon.
Rory McIlroy and Boston Common Golf have just one point through three matches as they look for their first win against Atlanta Drive GC. McIlroy’s group sits in last place in the SoFi Cup Standings, with Atlanta (4 points) comfortably above the cut-line.
Keegan Bradley and Hideki Matsuyama join McIlroy on Boston Common’s active roster, with Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel and Patrick Cantlay competing for Atlanta.
In the other match, the Los Angeles Golf Club (5 points) battles the New York Golf Club (2 points). New York currently occupies the fourth and final semifinal spot after a resounding 10-3 win over Jupiter Links Golf Club — the fifth-place team — last week.
Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler will aim to keep New York rolling. They’ll be opposed by Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala.
