What channel is the NBA All-Star Game on? Time, TV schedule, live streams, rosters, format for 2025 event

The NBA All-Star Game is taking on a new format this year, which will incorporate NBA All-Stars and the winners of the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

Ten starters and 14 reserves were divided into three teams of eight for a mini-tournament. The fourth team will be from the Rising Stars Challenge.

The mini-tournament will be three games: two semi-final matches and one championship. Each game will be played to 40 points, so whoever reaches the target score first wins.

In years past, the All-Star game has been West vs. East or two player-drafted teams. This year, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith drafted the three teams.

The winners of the mini-tournament will receive $125,000 each, second-place finishers will get $50,000 per player, and third and fourth place will get $25,000 each.
