The Philadelphia Eagles are once again Super Bowl champions, which means it is time for another parade in the City of Brotherly Love.
As an estimated one million fans gathered in the streets of Philadelphia, the team, led by head coach Nick Sirianni, quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley, made their way to the famed Rocky steps. While the parade was live on NFL Network and Fox 29 (Philadelphia), the TV cameras couldn’t catch all of the day’s best moments.
Plenty of videos and pictures from fans have made their way online, with more sure to come, of the Eagles embracing their fans in celebration. Barkley, specifically, has had some moments that could even make some Cowboys, Giants and Commanders fans smile … well, maybe.
Once the parade reached the main stage and players and coaches gave their speeches, it was only a matter of time before Barkley got the microphone. Here is what he had to say.

Saquon Barkley Super Bowl parade speech
Barkley’s speech was pretty quick because he quickly handed it off to the man next to him: Ryan Quigley. Barkley helped Quigley, a survivor of last month’s New Orleans terrorist attack, onto the stage to give a few words and lead an “E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles” chant. The Eagles invited Quigley to Super Bowl 59, and the former NFL punter accepted, returning to New Orleans for the first time since the attack.
Quigley said it was “A dream come true” to be invited to the game and parade.

Best Saquon Barkley moments from Super Bowl parade
Videos are already circulating online of some heartwarming moments between Barkley and fans. Here are some of the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year’s best moments from Friday’s parade.
Saquon Barkley saw the Eagles ball boy in the crowd and pulled him over the fence to join them in the parade.

This moment between Barkley and a young Eagles fan is as wholesome as it gets.
Three year old Lucy Bannon was standing along Broad Street with her grandma, Tracy, when Saquon Barkley walked by.
He saw their sign, picked Lucy up, and took photos for about 20 seconds.
“I couldn’t believe it was happening,” said her father, Charlie. https://t.co/zRNK4JNjBa pic.twitter.com/iv106e6ZN4

“If he just came over and said hello, happy birthday, that would have been enough. But he picked her up and took photos without us even asking. He couldn’t have been nicer,” Bannon’s parents said afterward.
Barkley said Philadelphia has “the best fans in the world” and cited love as the biggest reason the Eagles won it all this year.

Here is Barkley with Hurts and the entire Eagles offensive line shotgunning a beer with Jimmy Fallon. When “The Tonight Show” host was surprised at his shotgunning skills, Barkley replied by saying, “I did go to Penn State.” It was also later reported that Barkley only agreed to appear on the show if his offensive lineman could join him.

MORE SUPER BOWL 59:
Saquon Barkley record-breaking season with Eagles
While Barkley was not the superstar of Super Bowl 59, he was tremendous all year. After a phenomenal 2024 regular season, he was incredibly productive in the Eagles first three playoff games.
He became the league’s ninth 2,000-yard rusher, and seven of the other eight never won a playoff game. Barkley rushed for 2,005 yards during the regular season, setting a new franchise record.
Including the playoffs, he set new NFL records for most rushing yards in a season (2,504) and most combined yards rushing and receiving in a season (2,857).
