It’s a personal battle between two Olympic silver medallists as Denys Berinchyk defends his WBO lightweight title against Keyshawn Davis.
Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater will host the card that airs on ESPN+ and Fubo in the U.S. on Friday, February 14.
Berinchyk (19-0) won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and the 36-year-old is not ready to relinquish his title just yet.
Davis (12-0) clinched his silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and has bounced back after having a fight win overturned because of a positive marijuana test.
After allegedly receiving a ‘vile’ gift from the Berinchyk camp, Davis responded with an aggressive statement in his pre-fight press conference.
“I don’t care about none of your experience or amateur experience. I don’t care about your silver medal. I don’t even care about your watch, your belt, or any of that,” he said.
“I’m going to f— you up on Friday.”
