4 Nations Face-Off radio station: Full schedule, channel, live streams to listen live to 2025 hockey tournament

Instead of the typical All-Star weekend in 2025, the NHL and NHLPA are giving hockey fans the 4 Nations Face-Off, a new international tournament that will feature four talented teams chasing a championship.

Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States will participate in this year’s competition, which will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston. The event was limited to those four squads because the rosters will only consist of NHL players, though it could expand in the future.

The 4 Nations Face-Off should be a thrilling event, as it will mark the first best-on-best international tournament since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Here is everything you need to know about the 4 Nations Face-Off, including how to listen to games on the radio.

4 Nations Face-Off format

The 4 Nations Face-Off is a round-robin tournament featuring four teams: Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States. Each team will play three games and earn points based on the results (three points for a regulation win, two points for an overtime or shootout win, one point for an overtime or shootout loss and no points for a regulation loss). The top two teams will meet in the championship game.

All games will be played in accordance with NHL rules. The overtime format will be a 10-minute, three-on-three period followed by a three-round shootout if necessary. However, the championship game will follow the more traditional overtime format with 20-minute, five-on-five periods until one team scores.
