What is the Aramco International Series format?

The PIF Saudi Invitational has a unique format. A total of 112 players will tee it up in two competitions, with a 54-hole individual stroke play tournament taking place alongside a 36-hole fun team competition.

It is the first event in the re-branded five-part Aramco International Series, with events being played in Riyadh, Seoul, London, USA and Shenzhen throughout 2025.

A total of $5 million USD is up for grabs in Riyadh which is split between the two events.

The AIS tournament format has changed slightly from 2024 to remove amateurs from the team element of the competition to professionalise the women’s game.

What is the Aramco International Series payout?

The tournament sponsors have generously increased their prize money by 30%, contributing $13 million to the Ladies European Tour’s overall prize purse for 2025.

Riyadh has the highest prize fund at $5 million, while subsequent events will offer $2 million each, doubling last year’s prize money per event, dramatically improving the landscape for women’s golf.
