Through five weeks, the inaugural season of TGL has been a smashing success, with premier golfers competing in a one-of-a-kind environment.
The upstart, tech-infused TGL takes a one-week hiatus before returning with a seismic triple-header on Presidents’ Day, which falls on Monday, Feb. 17. The slate includes undefeated titans squaring off, with Atlanta Drive GC battling both The Bay Golf Club and the Los Angeles Golf Club.
So far, the LA Golf Club — led by Justin Rose and Collin Morikawa — sits in first place, at 2-0. On the other side of the bye, Rory McIlroy and Boston Common Golf (0-1-1) eye their first win. Tiger Woods and Jupiter Links Golf Club, meanwhile, have split their first two matches (1-1).

TGL golf format
Matches are scheduled for two hours and will feature three of the four PGA Tour golfers from each roster going head-to-head.
The 15-hole courses are split into two sessions: A nine-hole, 3-on-3 format dubbed ‘triples,’ and a six-hole, head-to-head “singles” round. Each hole is worth one point.
At the end of the regular season, the top four teams advance to the playoffs, featuring single-elimination semifinals and a best-of-three finals.
