Bournemouth vs. Liverpool lineups, expected starting 11, confirmed team news, injuries: Jones, Jota are doubts

With many of their stars rested and recovered, Liverpool face a difficult test in their quest for the Premier League title as they visit Bournemouth on Saturday in domestic play.

The Reds left most of their first-choice players at home for the midweek UEFA Champions League defeat at PSV, with Mohamed Salah and other regulars earning a rare full week between matches. Salah is having a Ballon d’Or-caliber season, and the week to recover could prove instrumental.

It comes at just the right time, as this trip to the south coast is suddenly one of the most intimidating in the Premier League.

The Cherries, despite a sizeable injury list that would have debilitated many other clubs, have been excellent in recent months as Andoni Iraola impresses at the helm. Bournemouth have not suffered a single defeat in league play since late November, on a run of 11 matches without a loss.

The Sporting News runs through the latest team news and injury updates for both sides.
