The New York Giants may not know exactly who they are taking in the 2025 NFL Draft, but Colorado star Shedeur Sanders seems confident.
In an interview with NFL Network during the East-West Shrine Bowl at AT&T Stadium — Sanders was a non-participating attendee — the Colorado star again hinted that he knows something we all don’t.
“Being in this stadium is definitely fun. I know I’ll play here very soon against the Cowboys,” Sanders said.
Shedeur Sanders just hinted that the #Giants will be drafting him:
• Sanders says he knows he will play the #Cowboys “very soon.”
• The #Titans and the #Browns do NOT play Dallas this upcoming season

Of course, Sanders could be talking about a handful of other teams. The Tennessee Titans don’t play the Cowboys in 2025 and while the Raiders do, that game takes place in Las Vegas.
So if we’re really digging into his quote, that must mean Sanders is talking about the Giants, right? Right!?
This wouldn’t be the first time Sanders has hinted that the Giants will be the team to call his name during the draft. Earlier in the collegiate season, Sanders repped the Giants blue and red colors on his cleats after earlier suggesting that would be the team to draft him.
“We know where we going… You’ll see them in the cleats later on this week” – Shedeur Sanders

Sanders didn’t wear those cleats during the game, but it was obvious which team he was referring to.
Even if Sanders is hinting at the Giants, there’s no way to know for sure if that’s where he’s going. The pre-draft process is just getting underway, and the Giants are still likely putting together their big board.
He may not even be there when the Giants are on the clock.
Still, it will be interesting to see after the draft if we look back on this as simply smoke or something we should have been paying attention to all along.
