Manchester City continue to provide a heap of surprises in this season’s Premier League and their recent 2-2 draw at Brentford was the latest example.
City were cruising at 2-0 thanks to a Phil Foden brace but conspired to concede two goals in the final minutes to succumb to yet another disappointing result. Now, their attentions must turn to a trip to Ipswich Town, who have upset some of the big boys this season.

Manchester City loanee Kalvin Phillips is ineligible for Ipswich as he cannot play against his parent club.
Forwards Sammie Szmodics and Omari Hutchinson both have knocks but the latter is fit to start. Meanwhile, Conor Chaplin and Chiedozie Ogbene are among the long-term absentees for Kieran McKenna’s men. Former Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe returns to the bench.
In-form striker Liam Delap leads the Tractor Boys’ line against his former employers.

Ederson is back in goal in place of Stefan Ortega, while captain Kyle Walker has been left behind again after expressing a desire to leave City in this transfer window.
Savinho has been in fine form lately but looked fatigued during the closing stages at Brentford and Jeremy Doku gets the chance to impress on the left wing.
