World Juniors schedule 2025: Full dates, times, scores, TV channel, live streams to watch every IIHF hockey game

The 2025 World Junior Championships begin with a four-game slate on Thursday, Dec. 26.

The U.S. won last year’s tournament, defeating Sweden in the gold medal game. Canada, which entered the tournament as the two-time defending champions, failed to medal in a disappointing fifth-place finish.

This year’s tournament will be held in Ottawa, providing the Canadians with home ice as they look to rebound from last year’s performance.

Among the other bona fide contenders are Sweden — returning nine players from the 2024 squad that won a silver medal — and Slovakia, which hopes to medal for the first time since 2015.

The action extends through the gold medal game on Sunday, Jan. 5.

The Sporting News has everything that you need to know about the 2025 World Junior Championships, including a complete schedule with TV and live stream information for every game.
