Arsenal rocked by another injury blow after Bukayo Saka

Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes have been hit hard with news of two key injuries.

Both Bukayo Saka and now Raheem Sterling are sidelined, leaving manager Mikel Arteta scrambling for solutions during a critical period in the season.

Saka, who has been a star performer for Arsenal, was forced off with a hamstring injury during the team’s win against Crystal Palace.

Arteta confirmed the winger is set to miss “many weeks,” a major setback for a player who has contributed five goals and ten assists this season.

Losing him is a blow to Arsenal’s creative and attacking power, especially with the Gunners chasing Liverpool at the top of the table.

Mikel Arteta on Raheem Sterling injury

To make matters worse, Raheem Sterling, on loan from Chelsea, has also been ruled out. The winger has played just 11 matches for Arsenal since joining but was seen as a natural replacement for Saka.

However, a knee injury will see him miss significant time, with Arteta saying further tests are needed to determine the full extent.

Arteta addressed the challenge of reorganizing the squad, saying: “We’ve faced many challenges this season, and this is just another one. It’s an opportunity to find new solutions and stay positive.”

What’s next for Arsenal?

Arsenal will need to regroup quickly.

They host Ipswich on December 27 before an important clash against Brentford on January 1.

Sitting third in the table, six points behind leaders Liverpool, Arsenal cannot afford to slip further.

Can Arteta’s tactical adjustments keep Arsenal’s title dreams alive, or will these injuries prove too much to overcome?
