An undisputed heavyweight champion was crowned for the first time since 1999 when Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in May. While the status of undisputed won’t be on the line in their rematch, the fight is absolutely colossal.
Usyk, now the unified heavyweight champion, faces “The Gypsy King” in Saudi Arabia on December 21. The 12-round bout, plus undercard action, will be broadcast on DAZN PPV.
The Ukrainian boxer is a two-division undisputed champion, having held gold at both cruiserweight and heavyweight. As well as his triumph over Fury, Usyk holds two decision wins over Anthony Joshua and a stoppage victory over reigning IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois.
