The 2024 CAF awards will honour leading players, coaches, club teams and national sides from across Africa in seven categories.
All shortlists have been confirmed for the men’s awards with one women’s category announced.
The main award is the CAF African Men’s Player of the Year with four Europe-based stars included on the final five-player panel.

Defending champion Victor Osimhen is not included on the list – with the Nigeria international completing a summer move loan move to Galatasaray – but fellow Super Eagle Ademola Lookman is on the list.

When is the 2024 CAF awards?
The 2024 CAF awards will take place at the Palais des Congres in the Moroccan city of Marrakech on Monday December 16, 2024.
The event is scheduled for 19:00 p.m. local time, which translates to 18:00 p.m. GMT and 9:00 a.m. ET.
How to watch 2024 CAF awards
Several digital TV stations will televise the event live for audiences in Africa, including SuperSports and stations on Startimes.
For fans based outside Africa, they can watch the ceremony on the CAF website and their dedicated YouTube channels.
