Manchester United celebrated a stunning 2-1 comeback win over Manchester City, but it wasn’t all good news for Ruben Amorim’s side.
After losing Mason Mount to another injury early in the game, Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui added to the Red Devils’ worries.
The right-back was seen limping out of the dressing room after the match, sparking fears over his fitness.
The victory at the Etihad was a thrilling turnaround. Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo’s goals secured three points for United after Josko Gvardiol’s early strike for City.
However, injuries continue to haunt United’s squad. Mount’s early departure forced Amorim into a quick tactical change, and now Mazraoui’s condition has raised more concerns.

Who can replace Mazraoui?
Mazraoui has been one of United’s most reliable players this season.
The 27-year-old delivered a solid performance against City, winning six tackles and two aerial duels. His ability to play in multiple defensive roles has been crucial for Amorim’s system.
The Moroccan has made 24 appearances since joining the club this summer, starting 14 times in the Premier League and providing two assists.
His possible absence comes at a bad time for United. They face Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup quarter-final on Thursday, followed by a Premier League match against Bournemouth just days later.
With Mazraoui in doubt, Amorim may turn to Diogo Dalot or Tyrell Malacia to fill the gap. Another option could see Amad Diallo move into a wing-back role.
