Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba could be heading back to the Premier League in 2025 but the Frenchman could be lining up for arch rivals Manchester City.
The 31-year-old is currently on the hunt for a new club following his release from Juventus in November.
However, Pogba is currently serving a worldwide ban following a reduction on his original suspension for failing a doping test in 2023.

After a lengthy battle, the Court of Arbitration for Sport accepted Pogba’s explanation that his ingestion of a banned substance was not intentional, and he can return to the pitch in March 2025.
Despite his confidence over regaining a place at Juventus, he will now move on to a new challenge, with another spell in England seemingly on the cards.
Pogba’s former France teammate Bacary Sagna has tipped him for a shock return to Old Trafford if Ruben Amorim can be convinced on a deal.
According to reports from The Independent, City are now rumoured to have entered the race, with informal talks already held with his representatives over a shock move, as part of Pep Guardola’s squad rebuild.
Pogba hinted he was offered a move to City, after departing from United in 2022, but he felt the time was right to leave Manchester and head back to Turin.
Any movement to bringing Pogba back to Manchester remains difficult, with the midfielder previously stating a burglary at his home in March 2022, and the still-under-investigation extortion attempt involving his brother, would make him tentative over a return to the city.
Convincing Pogba on the positives of coming back to the city – and to English football – could make-or-break City’s interest, but the player is short on options as he aims to revive his stuttering career.
