Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Ricardo Espinoza Franco start time

  • Date: Saturday, December 14
  • Time: 2 p.m. ET
  • Location: Salle des Etoiles – Monte Carlo, Monaco

Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Ricardo Espinoza Franco is on Saturday, December 14, with the main card starting at 2 p.m. ET. The main event should start around 5:30 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

A 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, Akhmadaliev (12-1) beat Daniel Roman in 2020 for the IBF and WBA super bantamweight belts. “MJ” successfully defended the belts three times until Marlon Tapales beat him in 2023, thwarting a clash against Naoya Inoue, which has been in high demand.

Competing for the first time in a year after rebounding against Kevin Gonzalez, Akhmadaliev looks to prove he’s still a dangerous fighter, and the Inoue fight is only a matter of time.

“I’m happy to be going back to work,” said Akhmadaliev. “It looks like that p4p star is not ready for big challenges. He can continue running away, but I will get what should be mine anyway. ‘MJ in business again and December will be hot!”

Espinoza (30-4) is a former interim bantamweight title challenger. Since losing against Roman in 2021, the 27-year-old is on a fight-fight win streak and is unbeaten in six fights. “Hindu” has 25 wins via knockout.
