Eagles vs. Packers final score, results: Philadelphia earns hard fought victory in low scoring win

JUMP TO:

Monday night at Lambeau Field delivered a throwback defensive spectacle that football fans rarely see in the modern NFL.

The highly anticipated Week 10 clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers started in a shocking, historic stalemate, ending the first half with a score of 0-0. It was a monumental anomaly, marking the first scoreless Monday Night Football first half since 2009. The frigid air and a slick track contributed to the offensive sputtering, creating a tense atmosphere where every possession was a desperate, hard-fought battle for yardage.

At halftime, the stat sheet underscored the struggle: Jalen Hurts’s 16-play opening drive was killed by a fumble near the red zone, and Jordan Love’s offense was particularly inept on critical downs, going a crippling 0-for-5 on third down conversions. The defensive dominance was capped just before the break when linebacker Nakobe Dean strip-sacked Love in field goal range, sealing the first-half shutout. The Eagles’ pass rush had already registered three sacks by that point.

The long-awaited first points finally arrived in the third quarter when Philadelphia kicker Jake Elliott broke the tension with a 39-yard field goal, making the score 3-0. The Eagles extended their lead early in the final quarter on a drive highlighted by Saquon Barkley’s dynamic 41-yard catch-and-run, which set up a 36-yard Devonta Smith touchdown to put them up 10-0. Facing the prospect of being shut out, Love finally found a spark, leading an 11-play, 75-yard counter-attack, where Josh Jacobs capped the effort with a tough 6-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to a single field goal.

The final minutes became a classic defensive stand, worthy of the low-scoring battle that preceded it. The Packers’ defense did their part by forcing an Eagles punt, giving Love one last chance for a game-winning drive. However, the Eagles’ relentless pass rush proved too much one final time, stifling the Green Bay comeback attempt and forcing Brandon McManus 64-yard missed field goal as time expired. In the end, the Eagles held on to claim the hard-fought, defense-dominated victory, 10-7.

The Sporting News followed all the action in the hard fought Eagles victory, where Philadelphia advanced to 7-2 on the season while the Packers dropped to 5-3-1. Check out all the action below.

End of the fourth quarter: Eagles 10, Packers 7

11:22 p.m.: McManus’ kick is no good, going way left.

On a cold night at Lambeau Field, the Eagles escape with a 10-7 win. For the first time since December 2023, there was a scoreless first half, and it’s Philadelphia who scored 10 unanswered to win.

The Eagles advance to 7-2, while Green Bay falls to 5-3-1.

11:20 p.m.: Brandon McManus has a chance to tie the game.

The ball is placed at the Eagles’ 46-yard line after a Bo Melton catch. It would be the longest field goal ever made at Lambeau Field at 64 yards.

11:18 p.m.: Green Bay has a sliver of hope.

Philadelphia decides to go for it on 4th & 6, when a punt would’ve almost iced the game. Instead, Hurts goes for Brown deep downfield and it comes up incomplete.

The Packers are on their own 36 with just over 30 seconds remaining.

11:10 p.m.: On a night where the Eagles defense has dominated, it might have ended the game with a statement.

On 4th & 1, the defense swarms Jacobs on a handoff and he fumbles the football. Philadelphia recovers and takes back over, with 1:26 remaining.

Green Bay has two timeouts.

11:05 p.m.: Facing a 3rd & 10, Love connects with Watson downfield for 25 yards for a must-needed first down. We have now hit the two-minute warning, with Green Bay trailing by three with the ball.

Philadelphia is now at the 42-yard line.

Eagles 10, Packers 7

10:47 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: After three quarters with three points, the teams have each scored a touchdown in the fourth.

Green Bay responds to Philadelphia’s score, with Jacobs taking a handoff and grinding for yards until he falls into the end zone.

It’s Jacobs’ 11th rushing touchdown of the season. The Packers now trail, 10-7, with 5:49 to go.

10:46 p.m.: The Packers are in the red zone for the first time tonight.

Love throws it up for Luke Musgrave, and though they don’t connect, it’s a pass interference on Eagles rookie Jihaad Campbell.

The next play, Love goes to Jacobs on a screen pass and now the Packers are inside the 10.

10:44 p.m.: Desperately needing a first down on 3rd & 8, Love finds Dontayvion Wicks on the right sideline for 10 and a first down.

The Packers are inside the 35 with just over seven minutes remaining.

10:41 p.m.: Love and the Packers offense has a first down, with the quarterback connecting with Bo Melton on a curl for 11 yards.

Eagles 10, Packers 0

10:36 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: Right after the Barkley play, we have our first touchdown of the game.

Hurts lobs one up to Devonta Smith, who goes up over a defender and he onto it in the endzone for a 36-yard touchdown.

The Eagles strike fast with two long plays and now lead by two possessions.

10:35 p.m.: Facing a 3rd & 7 deep in their own territory, Hurts connects with Barkley in the flat and the running back has space.

He gets 41 yards up the left sideline, the longest play of the game.

10:29 p.m.: The Packers are unable to do anything after getting to the 40-yard line. Matt LeFleur brings out the punt unit, and the ball goes in for a touchback.

End of the third quarter: Eagles 3, Packers 0

10:23 p.m.: At the end of three, the total points are three.

While Green Bay is across midfield after a Jacobs run, the Packers are scoreless through the first 45.

This game will be decided in the fourth quarter between two NFC contenders.

10:16 p.m.: The Eagles respond with a three-and-out, with Hurts and the offense unable to do anything.

Love and the Packers take back over with 2:32 remaining in the third, looking for Green Bay’s first points.

It is now 3-0, which is tied for the lowest scoring game in NFL history.

9:58 p.m.: On the first third down of the half, Hurts once again connects with Goeddert, this time in the flat, to move the chains.

The Eagles are in the red zone for the first time since the Hurts fumble.

9:56 p.m.: We have our first chunk completion of the night, with Hurts hitting Goeddert over the middle of the field for 22 yards. Philadelphia is inside the Green Bay 40.

9:54 p.m.: The second half is underway at Lambeau Field, with the Philadelphia offense looking to get on the scoreboard.

9:45 p.m.: The highly-anticipated matchup between two top offenses devolved into a defensive slugfest, resulting in a shockingly rare 0-0 halftime score at Lambeau Field.

The Eagles failed to capitalize on a meticulous, nine-minute drive when quarterback Jalen Hurts was strip-sacked by rookie Edgerrin Cooper deep in the red zone. The Packers later mirrored this futility when quarterback Jordan Love also fumbled after a strip-sack by Nakobe Dean right before the half, ensuring the deadlock remained unbreakable.

Halftime: Eagles 0, Packers 0

9:38 p.m: For the first time in two seasons, the teams will be going to halftime scoreless.

The Eagles and Packers are in a dogfight, with the defenses performing better than the offenses. It feels like a game where one play will make the difference.

Per the broadcast, it is the first scoreless “Monday Night Football” since 2009.

9:35 p.m.: Philadelphia turned over the ball in Green Bay territory on its opening drive, and now, Green Bay does the same.

Love faced pressure from Nakobe Dean, who wrapped up the quarterback and caused him to lose the football. The ensuing pile-up was recovered by the Eagles.

Both quarterbacks have fumbled.

9:32 p.m.: It doesn’t look good for Johnson.

After being carried to the locker room, the tackle was carted up the tunnel with an apparent ankle injury.

9:28 p.m.: The Packers are across midfield, and Love hits Jacobs for the second time on the drive for nine yards.

Green Bay is looking for the first points of the game.

9:27 p.m.: It took two plays for Green Bay to get a first down, with a Jacobs carry putting them above the line of scrimmage. Jacobs catches one underneath from Love, but it it goes for only five yards.

9:23 p.m.: On 3rd & long, Hurts has nobody down field and has to scramble yet again. While he gets a few yards, it’s not even close to a first down.

Green Bay has the ball back after another Philadelphia punt, starting right above its 30-yard line.

9:18 p.m.: Philadelphia might be without one of their star offensive lineman.

Lane Johnson was forced to leave the Monday Night Football game against the Packers after sustaining an apparent leg injury in the pocket.

9:17 p.m.: On 3rd & 2, Hurts overthrows Goeddert, but a pass interference on Green Bay keeps the drive going.

9:10 p.m.: Green Bay is unable to do anything, and with 6:37 to go Philadelphia will take over.

It’s still scoreless, and if it remains that way, it will be the first scoreless first half since 2023.

9:08 p.m.: After suffering an injury on the first drive of the game, Quinyon Mitchell is back. He tallies a pass breakup on first down on his first play back.

9:03 p.m.: On a 1st & 10, Hurts connects with Dallas Goeddert over the middle for seven yards to get the drive going.

8:51 p.m.: Philadelphia is unable to move the chains.

On 3rd & 14, Will Shipley takes the handoff to the right but it only gains seven yards.

The Eagles threatened on their first drive, but on the second it is a three and out.

8:48 p.m.: After a penalty drew them back five yards, the Packers punt back to Philadelphia. Xavier Gipson returns it 18 yards to the Eagles 21.

End of the first quarter: Eagles 0, Packers 0

8:45 p.m.: On 3rd & 13, Love scrambles for 12 yards but is short of the line to gain.

Green Bay faces a 4th & 1 to start the second quarter.

8:39 p.m.: The Eagles had a 3rd & 8 right outside of the 20-yard line. Though Hurts was able to scramble and get the first down, he fumbled on the way down.

It was recovered by the Green Bay defense and Philadelphia has the first turnover of the night.

8:33 p.m.: Facing a 3rd & 10, Hurts faced pressure but rolled out right. With Micah Parsons right on his back, he delivers an accurate throw to Will Shipley to keep the chains moving.

8:30 p.m.: Barkley has his first big carry of the night, going for 15 yards to get the Eagles to their 39 yard line.

8:29 p.m.: Philadelphia has its first first down, and it comes on its signature play, the tush push.

It appears that the Eagles had a false start, which has been a major controversy around the play this season.

8:27 p.m.: Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense takes over for their first drive of the night.

The defending champions start at the nine yard line.

8:23 p.m.: Green Bay picks up two yards on 3rd & 22 and will have to punt.

But, in bad news for Philadelphia, second-year corner Quinyon Mitchell went down on the play. He walked off the field and is being checked by trainers.

It’s Jalyx Hunt who wraps up the signal caller in the backfield for a 14 yard loss.

8:18 p.m.: Josh Jacobs has his first big play of the night, with Love hitting him out of the backfield and the back taking it across the sticks for a first down.

Green Bay, who scored only 13 points last week, gets the ball first.

8:12 p.m.: We are only moments away from kick off in a battle between two NFC heavyweights.

Follow along for live updates.

8:01 p.m.: Kickoff is less than 15 minutes away, and former Cowboy Micah Parsons is ready.

A few days ago, it was reported that the Parsons trade had a “poison pill,” which prevents Green Bay from trading him to the Eagles.

7:54 p.m.: Coming off a crushing loss to the Panthers last Sunday at Lambeau, Jordan Love and the Packers are looking to bounce back.

Love had 273 yards and an interception in the performance.

7:32 p.m.: Teams are on the field for warmups, including Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts.

Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden, who Green Bay selected in the first round, is out with a shoulder injury.

He’ll make his Eagles season debut against Green Bay.
