Is Breece Hall playing today? Latest injury update, Week 8 fantasy advice for Jets RB

As if the New York Jets don’t have enough problems amid an 0-7 season, their best offensive playmaker, running back Breece Hall, is questionable for the Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hall was put on the injury report this week with a knee issue and after turning in two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday, Hall closed out the week with a full session on Friday, which is a good sign for his availability.

However, the questionable tag still leaves at least some doubt about his ability to suit up against the Bengals.

Here’s what we know about Hall’s chances of playing.

Is Breece Hall playing today?

UPDATE: Hall is officially ACTIVE for Sunday.

END OF UPDATE

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Hall is expected to suit up on Sunday against the Bengals despite the questionable tag.

“Jets RB Breece Hall, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Bengals, per sources,” Schefter wrote on Saturday.

In the event this changes, Isaiah Davis would get the nod as the team’s starter. Davis received a bump up to RB2 behind Hall after the Braelon Allen injury.

Breece Hall start or sit advice

Despite the Jets’ ineptitude on offense, Hall ranks as RB19 overall this season, which makes him at least a flex option every week.

Making Hall more attractive this week is the fact that the Bengals are surrendering the most fantasy points per game to running backs. As a result, it’s fair to consider Hall an RB2 on Sunday.
