The NFL season has reached Week 8, and while there are still more than 10 weeks left to play, fans are beginning to take an early look at playoff pictures and projections.
Week 8 comes with a group of six idle teams, as the Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and Jacksonville Jaguars are all on a bye week. As fot the action on the field, there will be plenty to keep up with.
After Thursday’s primetime action kicks off the week, Sunday afternoon is highlighted by a divisional showdown between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, as well as the red-hot Chicago Bears’ visit to the ice-cold Baltimore Ravens.

Later in the day, the Dallas Cowboys will travel to take on the Denver Broncos while the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans in an AFC South showdown.
The matchups between teams with winning records are few and far in between on Sunday, but the action comes with plenty of storylines, specifically around those teams — and coaches — looking to get back on track.
