The Toronto Blue Jays stormed back from a 2-0 deficit in Game 1 of the 2025 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers to score 11 unanswered runs and win the game, 11-4.
Now the Blue Jays will go into Game 2 with their ace, Kevin Gausman, on the mound, hoping to take a 2-0 series lead.
In Game 1, it was star shortstop Bo Bichette’s first game back in more than a month. After the game, he revealed how he was feeling.

Bo Bichette reveals feelings after first game back
Bichette played at second base in his first game back since early September because there was still some worry about his ability to move around at shortstop. However, the Blue Jays’ star batted in the cleanup spot and had a productive night.
After the game, Bichette revealed to reporters how he was feeling.
“I felt pretty good,” Bichette said. “I just tried to slow the game down, and treat it like any other game, and I guess just try to fall in line and have good at-bats just like everybody else is having.”
Bichette was then asked if he thought he’d be in the lineup for Game 2, and if he felt healthy enough to play.
“It’s not my job,” Bichette said. “Yeah, I think so, but it’s not my job.”

The Blue Jays’ star went 1-for-2 with a single and a walk before he was pinch-run for in the sixth inning. Bichette also made an incredible play in the infield with a jump throw to first base, but looked a little gimpy afterward.
Bichette’s walk was in the sixth inning and got the Blue Jays’ nine-run rally started, and pinch-running for him in that scenario made sense.

It was Bichette’s first game back since early September, but he made it on base in two of his three plate appearances.
You would think that if Bichette feels good enough to play, it would be a no-brainer to have him back in the lineup for Game 2 on Saturday night.
