The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to improve to 3-0 in Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 p.m. ET, and they’ll have one of their biggest weapons available.
After being listed as questionable due to soreness in his lower back, Chet Holmgren will suit up in Saturday’s contest against the 1-1 Hawks, according to the NBA’s official injury report. However, the Thunder will be without Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso, Isaiah Joe, Nikola Topic, Kenrich Williams and Thomas Sorber.
As for the Hawks, Jalen Johnson and Kristaps Porzingis are both questionable for the second leg of the team’s back-to-back set. Additionally, 2024 first overall pick Zaccharie Risacher has been ruled out due to a sprained right ankle.

Chet Holmgren, Thunder look to remain undefeated vs. Hawks
Holmgren has been solid to start the 2025-26 campaign, though he’ll look to bounce back from a lackluster shooting performance in Thursday’s double-overtime win over the Indiana Pacers.
The 23-year-old shot just 4-for-12 from the field Thursday, including an abysmal 0-for-6 from beyond the arc. Still, he posted his first double-double of the season, racking up 15 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals over 39 minutes.
The big man was impressive during Tuesday’s season-opening double-overtime win over the Houston Rockets and is currently averaging 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 38.5 minutes per game.
The Thunder will aim to stay perfect and ideally wrap up Saturday’s contest in regulation after playing back-to-back double-overtime games. Holmgren will aim to stuff the stat sheet once again as he continues his push for his first All-Star nod this season.
