Camozzi (4-1) won over 27 fights in MMA. He’s on a two-fight win streak in BKFC, winning the cruiserweight title in 2024. The 38-year-old has three wins via knockout.
Born in Rome, Sakara (1-0) competed for Cage Warriors, M-1, the UFC, and Bellator. Of his 22 MMA wins, 16 were via knockout. Considered a pioneer, “Legionarius” won his bare-knuckle debut in July.
It’s Camozzi’s second straight fight competing in Italy. While honored to share the ring with Sakara, Camozzi hopes to be the one left standing in a place that holds special significance for him.
“This is a fight that was talked about when we were both in the UFC, but I’m so much happier that it’s finally happening with BKFC,” Camozzi told BKFC.
“He’s (Sakara) always been a really good striker, and I’m excited for it, but I plan on knocking him out. When I do, I believe I’ll be the new face of combat sports in Italy.”
