Moore was undercut on a carry and landed awkwardly on his left hip. He was examined in the Bears’ medical tent during the game, an eventual 25-24 Chicago win on a game-icing Jake Moody field goal.

The injury marked a devastating moment in what was otherwise a celebratory night for Chicago.
Moore departed the game in an ambulance
Herb Howard of the “Herb and Tou” podcast reported that, following the matchup, Moore was taken out of Northwest Stadium in an ambulance, along with wide receivers coach Antwaan Randle El.

Unfortunately, the exact extent of the ailment is still being determined. Per Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com, Moore will linger overnight in D.C. as he gets “precautionary medical attention.”

The victory, Chicago’s third in a row, improved the Bears’ early record on the year to 3-2 (2-1 on the road). Moore finished with two carries for six yards, although in fairness he wasn’t healthy enough to finish the game.
A PFWA All-Rookie Teamer while with the Carolina Panthers in 2018, Moore joined the Bears in 2023. On the year, the 6-footer out of Maryland has notched 19 receptions for 215 total yards and one touchdown, at an average of 11.3 yards per.
